This piece was inspired by a conversation I had with a stranger while leaving a beach in Puerto Rico.

That conversation shifted something in me. It reminded me that every person we pass carries a life just as deep, just as heavy, and just as meaningful as our own.

Even if we forget the moment, someone  will remember.
