ABOUT ARTIST

Khailia Garwood is a multidisciplinary artist and creative based in New York City. Through painting, photography, and design, she explores themes of identity, growth, memory, emotion, and the human experience.

Flowers with eyes are a recurring motif throughout her work. The eyes represent truth and emotion, while the flowers symbolize growth, transformation, and the experiences that shape us.

In 2015, she founded REBEL YOUTH, inspired by a quote from Kurt Cobain: “The duty of youth is to challenge corruption.” Over the years, the idea evolved into REBEL YOUTH STUDIOS, a home for her artwork, creative projects, and ongoing exploration of what it means to grow, feel, and become.

The message has always been simple:

BE YOU.
